The Kamala Harris Campaign is officially the poster-child of the age-old proverb, “You can’t have your cake and eat it too.”
Kamala Harris should’ve been the one person to really know how bad the post-election world would be if it ended in a Trump victory. I say this with certain level of confidence only because she spent the past three or four months trying to pump unadulterated fear into the hearts of the American electorate—telling them exactly what a Trump presidency would do, how much pain it would cause to not only Americans and American institutions, but also to the few remaining global institutions with credibility (are there any left?).
Rather than making changes to Joe Biden’s various unpopular policies to help avoid such a dire post-election scenario, VP Harris did everything possible to appear as the status quo candidate, forcing people to feverisly scratch their heads wondering why she was chosen to replace Biden in the first place? In the process, Kamala Harris not only turned away likely voters, but turned away those crucial swing state voters at her own campaign’s detriment. VP Harris spent weeks and eventually months simply playing the role of a horribly programmed political robot, reading obediently from scripts provided to her at various campaign stops and during her very selective and limited media appearances.
If anything, the Kamala Harris campaign will serve as the final nail in the battered coffin of a very long & lazy era of electoral politics—one that relied heavily on fear tactics, superficial identity politics, highly corrupt campaign financing, and an equally corrupt & failing corporate media landscape that serves mainly as a government mouthpiece. This list can go on and on, but I don’t want to waste more of your time.
When President Trump takes office in January and decides to “potentially” burn everything down, please keep in mind that the Kamala Harris campaign wasn’t only genocidal all along, but also suicidal when it came to its own electoral prospects. The campaign served as great proof that regardless of how much money you throw at something corrupt and failing, the results will be a painful failure for all involved.
The people in decision making positions suffer from a level of hubris and intellectual entitlement that took decades in the making. Moreover, since they are morally bankrupt as they continue to condone an ongoing genocide, the only remaining path to some sort of vindication for humanity is for such people to get burned financially and intellectually. Sadly, in the world of ruthless capitalism, this type of loss is only the language they will understand.
Thank you for nothing, Team Kamala. Now please go away and never come back.
