I can’t say they give the western nation-state much hope because the morality hole seems to be getting deeper and wider with each passing hour, but the Maté brothers do their part in bringing a semblance of old-school humanity back into the conversation as they discuss life, politics and religion with host of the Let’s Give A Damn podcast Nick Laparra (major props to Mr. Laparra—he does an excellent job in getting so much quality context of the brothers).
Aaron & Daniel Maté show that there will be people around (fingers and toes are still crossed) to rebuild society after the powers that be are finished destroying everything they want to destroy. The interview is a welcome relief from all the shock and awe trauma that gets consumed as the cluster bombs packed with pain and hatred explode all around us.
This weekend go on a long walk with this episode as your walking companion. You’ll thank me later. Also, I noticed the episode is already restricted by YouTube!
