Bank of Harvard tried very diligently to give the mic to obeying foot soldiers, but even those students defied orders and pursued a path of humanity. They thought they could replace a Ahmed with a Kumar and get completely different results. Not so fast, Harvard.
Kudos to Shruthi Kumar for looking not at what kind of job she will land in a couple months or how much money she will be making in a few years, but rather choosing a courageous path that will forever serve as an example to not just her own future children, but to countless other students of all walks of life. Sure, this is a proud moment for Shruthi, but I hope the proudest people in the audience were her parents.
