Whatever you want to call modern-day Israeli society, whether it’s an apartheid or ethno-nationalist state or even, shamelessly racist–whatever the chosen term–a veiled form of nationalism is undoubtedly the root of the problem.

Behind the thick veil of Zionism hides Israeli nationalism. It is a very unique and special blend, mainly because it has very successfully attached itself to one of the world’s oldest religions. Zionism has even stolen the religion’s most precious symbols like the Star of David on its flag or the Menorah that represents Israel’s governing body the Knesset. The practitioners of this religion include a global diaspora and hence ironically span across national borders, turning the typical nation state system on its head. Zionism uses & abuses Judaism as some sort of Trojan Horse or in more Gen-Z parlance, a fake-ID that allows Israel free entrance into various circles of power around the world. It offers its own leaders, as well as foreign ones around the world dual citizenship—some officially and others unofficially–in effect allowing the Israeli state to defiantly flex its geopolitical muscles regardless of national borders.

For proof of this phenomenon, look no further than the U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Upon visiting Israel following the events of October 7th, Mr. Blinken was fairly blunt in revealing his inherent bias: “I am in Israel during this incredibly difficult moment for this nation and for the entire world. As Secretary of State, as a Jew, as a husband and a father, I understand on a personal level the harrowing echoes Hamas’s massacres carry.” Source: Twitter, Antony Blinken

Zionism is the type of nationalism that acts like some sort of leech that sucks the blood out of its reluctant host Judaism or for that matter, other nations or institutions (i.e. universities) that give it financial, political or military support. It comes outfitted with numerous tentacles–ones that reaches deep into and across national borders–complete with an A.I.-powered anti-criticism defense system that fires accusations of anti-antisemitism rockets at even the slightest hint of dissent.

Of course, the great irony of it all is that Zionism itself is simultaneously Judaism’s and Israel’s worst enemy simply because in order to secure its own security and survival it must continue to suck the blood of others. Sooner or later those hosts will notice. Zionism was created to be Judaism’s valiant savior from the raging flames of hateful European and American antisemitism, only to subconsciously turn this hatred not only on itself as a nation built on stolen territory, but also the global Jewish diaspora. It gives the phrase “hurt people, hurt people” a whole new meaning.

One could go on and on, but I think readers can somewhat grasp the systemic nature of Zionist-flavored nationalism. It might seem impossible to remove such a large and daunting tumor like Zionism without hurting its religious host Judaism or political host nations that lend it support, but American university students are up to the challenge. American history has consistently proven that university students are always on the right side of the debate.

These brave future leaders happen to not only be Jewish, Christian and Muslim, but the level of diversity in these student encampments at universities across the globe literally has no end. University students, faculty, staff and wider support network that includes local activists, parents, etc are people of all ethnicities, ages, creeds, socioeconomic backgrounds—a coalition now that takes on a globalists approach at answering a truly global question: How to sever Zionism’s death grip not only on Judaism, but also on global power structures that are responsible for so much death, destruction and general suffering around the world?

If you want to stand on the right side of history, make sure you stand in solidarity with these students. Give them support however possible. This fight won’t be short, nor will it be easy. It will be framed as an ideological battle of the ages in an attempt to divide and control, but never forget that Zionism is forever rooted in a truly evil & highly networked form of nationalism.

Together we will win.

Here is what the Columbia University lawn where the encampment sat looks like the morning after it was violently torn down (May 1st, 2024). You can take down tents fairly easily, but removing signs of dissent won’t be so easy.
