The slap heard all around the world is simply one example of being forced to take a side on a particular hot-button cultural issue even though you can argue for both sides of the slap. I’m sure I’m not in the minority here.
Of course political views are central to the formation of sides and teams. This trend will undoubtedly continue in the coming year considering election year is already upon us. Having said that, judging by the most recent election results, I can sense the general fatigue with taking sides. I liked the world in which you’re at a dinner party and you’re kind of up in the air about where people stand on various topics of discussions. Unpredictability is what makes random conversations fun.
