It’s all about the feedback loops.
The Internet is built to help one person communicate with another person or rather, communicate with anyone else on the planet.
Serendipity (or at least algorithm-driven serendipity) normally serves as the friendly wind in our sails as we navigate the Internet—all along the way “randomly” showing us ads and in the process, planting seeds of desire deep inside our heads.
It’s all about the feedback loops.
Is it counter -productive to close yourself off to the world, all the while making information available to the world, but taking nothing back? It seems like a physical journal is in order.
It’s all about the feedback loops.
The obvious next question is why write something that you don’t want anyone reading? Well, the obvious answer is you want people to read it, but not everyone. Moreover, you want people to read it, but don’t much care for their opinion on the topic. Is this rooted in some irrational fear or previously acquired knowledge? Maybe so.
Although one thing is for sure, it’s all about the feedback loops.
This is a thought experiment in progress. If you have any opinions, please write about it somewhere on the Internet or publish it in a book and maybe I can read it one day.
